DOGATHON 2008 - PetnYou 5th Agility trials on 10 August, 2008
This year's theme is 'AEROSPACE -Astronaut, Asteroid, Astrodogs', so do come in your futuristic best.
Hugely popular event in the K9 calender. Featuring variety of exciting games, numerous pet products and stalls in spacious campus grounds, just the ideal location for a day out with your family and four legged friend.

First time ever that proper competitive agility trials are being held as part of the annual Dogathon activities and PetnYou are proud to be associated with this exclusive event.
Dogathon has always attracted a large following amongst dogs and dog lovers. The grounds is massive and suited for dog sports and agility enthusiasts should be in for a swell time.

Prior to flexing our muscles at the PAAPP Flyball, Agility and OB trials in Sungai Dua, we popped by Batu Ferringhi beach the day before for a quick dip and also to take in the sunset. Check out the beach babes and hunks seen parading on the beach that weekend.

DOG OLYMPIC DAY - 29 June 2008, BU Central Park
Lugging the heavy medals ...
The Dog Squad took part in 6 of the 9 games scheduled on the day and ended up with an impressive haul of medals over 5 games.
Lawrence & Cami (Cairn terrier) - 3 Silver medals in Agility, Hurdle race and 60 weave pole challenge
Mun Yee & Russell (JRT) - 2 Bronze medals in Hurdle race and 60 weave pole challenge
Amnada & Pacco (Mixy) - Gold medal in Simon says and Silver in Recall race
Fawn & Groovy (JRT) - Gold medal in Hurdle race
Well done guys and girls!
We had a good time except that the organisers should have exercised better judgment by leaving the design of the agility course to the appointed judge. As it is, the course was set by the organisers themselves, resulting in an unorthodox layout which left competitors wondering if they were running a Gamblers or Snookers course instead of Standard Agility.

The Dog Squad lost a treasured and close friend, Bank the Golden Retriever who passed away at the tender age of 3. Our deepest condolences go out to our fellow trainer, Chan and his family, on the loss of their able dog.

Learning to focus
New training groundsFeel free to drop by at our new and spacious training grounds at Effingham Primary School field in Bandar Utama to have a chat with our trainers, members and fellow dog lovers. Our Agility and Obedience training sessions are conducted in a proper fenced, grass field which is comfortable, safe and secure for all dogs.
Thumbs up to BU training grounds
Grass is the ideal surface for training. The safety and well-being of your dog is paramount and you should not have to compromise on this by undertaking dog sports (eg. agility, flyball) on hard or concrete surfaces.

What a show it turned out to be! With more than 80 entries in Obedience and Agility trials, tremendous crowd support and overwhelming public response, Petworld Malaysia 2008 at Mid Valley Megamall ranks amongst the top dog events ever staged.

NOW YOUR DOG CAN BE TITLED!
The Neighbourhood GangNow your dogs can earn titles through trials and these titles can then be added to the dog's name in recognition of its ability and achievements on the field. Titles are a means by which owners can measure their dog's performance, a goal to look forward to and strive to achieve.
Such awards also promote the pursuit of excellence in training and dog sports. Having a titled dog is certainly just reward for any owner who has put in quality time and effort to bond with their dogs.
With effect from 2008, PetnYou will be awarding individual Agility Titles and Obedience Titles that a dog can attain through participation at the PetnYou Trials.
